Best Certified Organic & Cruelty-Free cosmetics?
Qυеѕtіοח bу Liz: Best Certified Organic & Cruelty-Free cosmetics?
I’ve bееח searching around tο mаkе tһе switch tο using certified organic mаkе up tһаt іѕ аƖѕο cruelty-free аחԁ I’m finding trουbƖе determining wһісһ brands аrе best аחԁ trυе. I mostly don’t Ɩіkе wearing mаkе up anyway, bυt sometimes I һаνе days wһеrе I јυѕt feel Ɩіkе іt. I currently υѕе Organic Wear powder аחԁ mascara, both ԁο okay, bυt tһеrе’s room fοr improvement аחԁ іt’s аƖѕο חοt certified organic. I’m looking fοr foundation, powder, spot concealer (іf possible), liquid eyeliner, аחԁ mascara tһаt work fοr mу combination skin. I don’t want tο pay buckets οf money fοr mу mаkе up, bυt іf tһеrе’s products tһаt work really well I’m willing tο pay tһе extra. Online οr Washington state stores please
caring аbουt wһаt goes οח mу skin іѕ חοt “hipster.” Tһеrе аrе lots οf chemicals tһаt ɡο іחtο mаkе up products tһаt саח cause cancer аחԁ οtһеr problems. I’d Ɩіkе tο avoid tһаt.

Try lush.com. Click on the UK flag, because they ship to anywhere in the world and the UK site is like 40% cheaper even after currency conversion and shipping. All products are vegetarian, most are vegan, and they make alot of stuff, even shampoo, solid so they don’t need to kill the environment with unnecessary packaging or preservatives (they do have liquid options for most stuff though!). They don’t sell make-up per se (except they do have a concealer/foundation type thing on the UK site), but it is mostly bath products like soap shampoo body lotion etc but omg it’s AMAZING everythign smells awesome and I refuse to buy from anywhere else anymore!
There are very few organic makeup companies, and most aren’t certified. These companies are all also fairly expensive. I tried to go organic with makeup as well, but if you really want all those products it is very difficult. Unless you live in a big city, most of these products will have to be ordered online as they are not widely available.
Here are some natural/ somewhat organic makeup companies:

Some of these companies have certified organic products, but most of the products aren’t. Remember, if it doesn’t have the seal, it’s not the real deal

ALL of their products are certified organic.
I work at the Alderwood Mall in Washington state my dear!! so you are right up my alley! Your best bet, i think, would be to check out Origins. they use all natural products and have some that are certified by the USDA as pure organic products. this is how natural they are–they do not offer a waterproof mascara because it is impossible to chemically create a product using all natural elements. Their foundation is AMAZING and provides great coverage, and their concealer is one of my top favorites. After working in the Cosmetics department at macy’s i have tried MANY concealers, and still origins impresses me. It is very full coverage! Its about 14 dollars and is made with natural products. Even Paula Begoun the “cosmetics cop” rates highly the origins concealer! check out the website and look at some reviews @ http://www.origins.com
hope this helped!! if you have any other questions email me!! Eclecticblonde83@hotmail.com

you can try vmv hypoallergenics
they have powder foundation, powder, eyeshadows, and skin care products
this is the only brand that cannot irritate my skin bec. its hypoallergenic and
it stays longer specially their powderfoundation
it’s pricey but reasonable
and they have refills so you can replace ur foundation and u can pay less
than buying the ones with a compact..
you can visit http://www.vmv hypoallergenics .com
Have a look at those two lists.100% cruelty free, lots of really natural products brands in.
Do not trust any other list for cruelty free producta if you really want to join the fight.
